Google Pixel 10 : Everything We Know About the Next Generation

Google is preparing the arrival of its new Pixel 10 lineup. Unsurprisingly, the company remains faithful to its iconic “visor” design, already present on the Pixel 9. CAD-based renders, shared by @OnLeaks and Android Headlines, provide a first glimpse of the three expected models. No visuals have leaked yet for the Pixel Fold, but current trends leave little room for surprises.

Google Pixel 10: Dimensions and Design

The Google Pixel 10 will retain a 6.3-inch screen and similar dimensions to its predecessor: 152.8 x 72.0 x 8.6 mm. The only notable difference is a slightly increased thickness of 0.1 mm, likely due to a thicker glass layer.

A more interesting addition is a third camera lens on the “visor.” This detail could further differentiate the Pixel 10 from its Pro version. The type of sensors remains unknown, but the standard model is expected to feature more basic hardware. Additionally, the thermometer sensor should remain exclusive to the Pro versions.

Google Pixel 10 Pro: Subtle Changes

The Pixel 10 Pro shares the same dimensions as the standard version. It is also 0.1 mm thicker than the Pixel 9 Pro, a detail unlikely to impact handling.

Both models feature a 6.3-inch diagonal display. Their resolution remains a mystery, but we can expect 1080p+ for the Pixel 10 and 1280p+ for the Pro.

Google Pixel 10 Pro XL: The Large Format

The Pixel 10 Pro XL will measure 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5 mm, making it 0.1 mm shorter than the Pixel 9 Pro XL. It maintains the same thickness and will feature a 6.8-inch display, just like its predecessor.

An interesting detail concerns the frame finish: matte on the Pixel 10, glossy on the Pro models. Google continues to associate this glossy effect with a more “premium” look, a strategy adopted by other brands.

Enhanced Performance with Tensor G5

Google is preparing a real evolution with the Tensor G5. Unlike previous models manufactured by Samsung, this chip will be produced by TSMC, possibly with MediaTek’s assistance. This change should bring significant improvements, including 4K 60 fps HDR video recording, up from 4K 30 fps previously.

An Earlier Release?

The Pixel 10 is expected to introduce a new Pixel Sense assistant. Its launch could take place earlier than anticipated. Android 16 is scheduled for release between April and June, and the Pixel 10 lineup could follow with an August launch, unlike previous generations, which debuted in October.

The wait continues, but one thing is certain: Google is refining its Pixel lineup to remain a key player in the smartphone market.
