Samsung is gearing up to launch the new Galaxy A56, A36, and A26, and thanks to a major leak from WinFuture, we already have all the details. Yes, them again. The German media outlet, which just leaked everything about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra yesterday, is now back with specs, images, and details on Samsung’s upcoming mid-range models.
Three Models, Same Screen Size
According to the official images published by WinFuture, all three models—the A56, A36, and A26—feature a 6.7-inch display. They offer a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Which is quite decent for this segment. The A56 and A36 even reach 1,200 nits of brightness, making them easier to read in direct sunlight, according to the leak.
For durability, WinFuture reveals that the A56 features Gorilla Glass Victus.
The A36 comes with Gorilla Glass 7+, ensuring solid protection.
The A26 also has Gorilla Glass, but Samsung remains secretive about the exact version.
Another notable difference: the A56 and A36 have an under-display fingerprint scanner, while the A26 integrates it into the power button.

Under the Hood: Different Processors
Now, let’s talk about performance. WinFuture has unveiled all the details here as well:
- Galaxy A56: Packs a Samsung Exynos 1580 processor with eight cores (four for performance, four for efficiency) clocked at 2.91 GHz, paired with an Xclipse 540 GPU and 8 GB of RAM.
- Galaxy A36: Uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, featuring eight cores at 2.4 GHz max, an Adreno 710 GPU, and a choice of 6 or 8 GB of RAM.
- Galaxy A26: Runs on a Samsung Exynos 1380, also clocked at 2.4 GHz, with two high-performance cores and six efficiency cores, along with 6 or 8 GB of RAM.
Cameras: A Common 50 MP Sensor
All three models share a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). However, the A56 stands out with a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, while the A36 and A26 settle for an 8 MP sensor.
For selfies:
- A56 & A36: 12 MP front camera
- A26: 13 MP front camera
All three devices support 4K video recording, according to WinFuture.

Extra Features That Make a Difference
The A56 sports a metal frame, while the A36 and A26 use plastic, but they still retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Battery life is solid across the board, with a 5,000 mAh battery on all three models. However, charging speeds differ:
- A56 & A36: 45W fast charging
- A26: 25W charging
WinFuture also confirms that all three phones run on Android 15 with One UI 7 and support 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3. They are IP67-certified, meaning they are dust- and water-resistant.
Additionally, the A56 and A36 support eSIM, but the A26 does not.
Pricing and Availability
According to WinFuture, pricing should remain similar to previous models:
- Galaxy A56: €479
- Galaxy A36: €379
- Galaxy A26: €299
No official confirmation yet, but given WinFuture’s track record, these details are likely accurate. The 2025 Galaxy A lineup should arrive in early March, according to the German media outlet.
